21．　　Anyone out there?
　　Scientists think that there (1)       life on the earth for hundreds of millions of years. However, we have not found life on any other planets (2)      . The earth is a planet and it goes around the sun. Seven other planets also go around the sun. None of them has an environment like (3)       of the earth, so scientists do not think they will find life on them. 24．　　People often talk about jobs. But when I tell others what I do for a living, they can hardly (几乎不) believe it. But I'm not joking (开玩笑). I spend my days at work eating chocolate! I taste chocolate to make sure that people can get wonderful chocolate from our factory.
　　Every week I get chocolate from our factory. I have to check it for taste and smell. I also have to taste raw material (原材料) we usually use. I spend days choosing (选择) the most suitable (合适的) ones to go into the chocolate.
　　Just beside my office I have a kitchen. I test and taste chocolate I make there. My kitchen is full of machines. It's wonderful to work during the day.
　　No two days are the same in this job. Sometimes I am in the kitchen. Sometimes I go out of the country to buy the raw materials we need, and because I have a young family, that can be difficult. But I love this job. I like to live a different life every day. The question is that many people ask me if I get bored (厌烦) of chocolate. I work with it for a long time, but I never feel I don't want to eat it. In fact, I often go home and eat some more in the morning!

25．　　On my recent trip to Sydney with my parents, we visited the Wildlife Park.
　　The Wildlife Park has lots of different animals and birds. Some are native (当地的) to Australia and can only be found there. There are over 600 animals there, including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles (鳄鱼). They are kept in their natural environment. I like the Wildlife Park better than a zoo where most of the animals are in cages (笼子).
　　We first spent some time with the kangaroos. We were allowed to touch and feed them. It was very exciting to be so close to them. There were koalas there too. They looked very cuddly (令人想拥抱的). Although we were not allowed to carry them, I got to take a photo with one.
　　It is a wonderful souvenir (纪念品) of my holiday in Sydney.
　　The Wildlife Park has plenty of fresh water and saltwater crocodiles. Some of them are really big and scary (吓人的) with huge teeth! I did not want to get too close to them.
　　There was also a bird show. The keepers showed us different species (种类) they had. I saw an old parrot which could "talk". It made a great impression on me.
　　I enjoyed the trip very much. There was so much to see.
