We should live in a world of gratitude. We should prove it with actions, not just words. We thank people who hurt us, because they teach us important things. We thank people who give us up, because we learn how to be independent. We thank people who selfish (自私的), because we learn the importance of being kind. Of course, we should thank people who help us. We should thank people who teach us. We should thank people who care about us.

4.Tony's and Jane's opinions about keeping pet dogs
Tony Keeping pet dogs is a good idea I think people should be allowed to keep pet dogs. There are lots of reasons for this. First, dogs are really cute. It's nice to pick them up and hold them in our arms, and it's wonderful to see them growing up quickly. Second, your dog might not be dangerous but by simply barking (吠) he can keep away a burglar (窃贼) who might think of entering your house. Finally, we can also learn about life and death from dogs. Young people can learn how to care for others and how to respect (尊重) all living things by keeping a pet dog. I think keeping pet dogs is something everyone can enjoy.
Jane Keeping pet dogs is not a good idea In my opinion, it is never a good idea to keep a pet dog. Firstly, pet dogs create a lot of mess. They leave fur (毛) and hair on the floor, on beds and on sofas, and they need to be washed daily. Secondly, we should remember that not all dogs are friendly. Some dogs bark at people they do not know. A few dogs bark all night. This stops their neighbors from getting any sleep. A small number of pet dogs even bite (咬) people. Lastly, you have to make sure pet dogs are in good health and provided with good pet products. Paying for dog food and visiting the vet when dogs are ill can be expensive. I believe that people should not keep pet dogs.
5. Searching for parking spaces has long been a headache for many office workers in many big cities of China, especially for those working in CBD (中央商务区). Parking near their companies for five days a week could cost them a lot of money. At the same time, even with prices for parking lots in residential areas (居民区) rising, most of their spaces stay idle during workdays. Now the shared parking space has appeared in China. It has become a huge market in some big cities.
In Qingdao, up to 10, 000 personal parking spaces have been turned into shared ones with the help of "Airparking", an online shared parking platform (平台).
Through a special app, users can either share or order a parking place. Owners who have idle parking spaces can share some information, including the parking position, license number and time limit (限制) on the platform. With the information, users can easily find the nearest place to park. The average (平均的) parking cost for shared parking is 4 yuan each hour, almost the same as the service cost in traditional parking spaces.
Qingdao is one of the Chinese cities that encourage shared parking. Some other big cites, including Beijing, Shanghai and Hefei, have also begun to try this idea. The Shanghai government, for example, has set up more than 6, 500 shared parking spaces to encourage the public to use. Shared parking will be more and more helpful to the drivers.
