There were many choices, such as computer science, language and music, but he chose chemistry to study. He kept asking questions and doing experiments. "When doing experiments. 16. Many teenagers may not be very sure of themselves, which is called the lack (缺乏) of self-confidence. Are you one of them?Well, it is quite common but it is also the thing you can and should change. Here is some advice.
In building self-confidence, your first goal is to better understand yourself especially your strengths and weaknesses. For example, you can go to a comfortable place and think about the things that make you feel bad about yourself. You should get your problem out. Also, you need to know about your strengths. You can start by making a list of things you do well. By doing them, you reduce your worries and start believing in yourself.
Then, scientists say we can change our feelings by changing our doings. Even a little change can make a big difference. For example, a big smile can help you fight off bad feelings. If you compliment others, you will find that other people will compliment you back. We all like to hear good things about ourselves from others.
Also, thinking about yourself in the third person is good, too. It means to think about yourself as if (好像) you were someone else. As you work on improving your self-confidence, try to think of yourself as a separate person. Seeing yourself as a stranger can help make a change.

Scientists once worked to set up these pieces. In February, they focused (聚焦) the telescope on a star. At that time, the mirrors weren't set up yet so the photo of the star looked like there were 18 separate stars. But there was only one star!On March 11, scientists finished an important step. The mirrors were set up, and they had a photo to show it. The scientists chose another star and took a photo of it, and this time in the picture, there was only one star!
