17． Work around the House
Amy and Li Jun were talking about their work around the house. They both have to do things every morning. Some things were the same. However, other things were different.
Amy told Li Jun, "Every morning I have to make my bed."
Li Jun did not understand. He asked, "What does that mean?"
Amy explained. "I must make sure that the blanket is straight. Also, I have to place my pillows in the right spots."

"Oh, you set the table. At our house, my sister has to set the table. After breakfast,we both have to wash the dishes." said Amy. "Neither my mom nor I can wash the dishes after breakfast. We must leave the house early. Therefore, my father has to wash them. Then, he goes to work." said Li Jun.
"It's interesting to hear about your family," said Amy. "In our homes in the states, the work is the same. However, different people have to do it. It depends on the family."
