　　The Dragon Boat Festival is on lunar May 5th. On this day, people have dragon boat races in many places and eat zongzi to remember Qu Yuan. People can enjoy a one-day holiday, too.
　　October 1st is the National Day of China. It is a very important holiday. All the people in the country celebrate the birthday of China on this day. In Beijing, many people go to Tian'anmen Square to watch the national flag rise.

6．　　Bing Dwen Dwen is the cute mascot (吉祥物) of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. It was very popular during the Games.
　　There were 14 members in the design (设计) team of Bing Dwen Dwen. They are all teachers and graduate students from a college in Guangzhou.
　　Bing Dwen Dwen looks like an astronaut in a space suit. It waves its left hand to say hello. It has two red hearts on its palms (掌心), showing kindness and love.
　　As for Bing Dwen Dwen's popularity, Cao Xue, the leader of the design team, said he did not expect it to be so popular. "Its ice shell (外壳) is cold, but its image looks warm and lovely. I believe this kind of warmth can be something everybody feels." Said Cao.

7．　　Many students may have time to enjoy after-school activities because of the double reduction policy (双减政策). Some students can play sports. Some students can go to learn music. Other students can draw or practice calligraphy (书法) and more. Many people believe after-school activities are fun and good for students.
　　But why should students do after-school activities? Here are some good reasons. First, doing an after-school activity is a good short break from studying. Second, students can make some friends while doing after-school activities. Third, students can get some new skills from the activities.
